Delete your easyCharging account and data
You can request permanent deletion of your easyCharging account and the personal data associated with it. You do not need to have the easyCharging app installed, and you do not need to sign in to make the request.
How to request deletion
- Email hello@easycharging.app from the email address connected to your easyCharging account.
- Use the subject Delete my easyCharging account.
- Say that you want your easyCharging account and the personal data associated with it permanently deleted.
We may contact you to confirm that you own the account before we complete the request. Never send your password or your payment-card details. We will never ask for them.
What we delete
Once we have confirmed the request, we permanently delete your easyCharging account and the personal data associated with it — your account profile and the other account-linked data described in our Privacy Policy.
What we may retain
We keep only the records the law requires us to keep. In particular, financial regulations require us to retain transaction records for typically seven years, as set out in section 9 of our Privacy Policy. Anything retained is restricted to those legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution purposes, and is kept only for the period that applies to it.
How long it takes
We normally complete a confirmed deletion request within 30 days. If we need more information from you, or if the law requires a different period, we will tell you.
Before you ask us to delete
Deletion is permanent. It is not a deactivation, a freeze or a temporary disabling of your account. Once it is done, you will not be able to sign in to that account again, and its data cannot be recovered — by you or by us.
easyCharging has no subscriptions and no membership fees, so there is nothing to cancel separately. If a charging session is still running, let it finish and settle before you send your request.
